Some major changes are coming to my Workshop as I update the support status across several of my existing creations.
Over the past day, I went through my entire Workshop catalog to decide what's actually worth my time to maintain, fix, and optimize going forward.
Normally, about a month after a release, I'll do a massive optimization pass to cut the overall file size. Waiting that long is intentional; it leaves room for initial bug fixes and improvements that would become more difficult to implement once the optimizations were in place.
That said, keeping every single one of my legacy creations alive isn't sustainable. Today, I'm deprecating 13 creations, which either no longer meet my standards, require too much upkeep for what they are, have successors currently in development, or simply don't need any further updates.
The following creations will no longer receive support:
Enigma Prosperita2 & Tuono
These builds genuinely suck. I attempted to make realistic vehicle handling before I had ever actually driven a real car. Unsurprisingly, it was a terrible idea. Successors to both have been sitting in development for a while, though I'm currently re-evaluating whether they're even worth finishing.
HMG PCs & Monitors
These creations are essentially feature-complete and don't need further work. Since they run on Rabbit OS Pro by why so serious, any future upkeep or compatibility issues are entirely outside of my hands anyway.
Thales' Expanded Window Parts Mod
My standalone edit of Thales' mod, which had only the window blocks, is being deprecated. It is fully compatible with the original mod, so I can keep using my lightweight version for personal builds, while subscribers simply use the full mod instead.
On the other side, I'm looking into redirecting my focus toward projects that actually matter. There's several builds, including major milestones like Tribute Vault 01, Luminar Nuclear Power Plant, and the original Tribute Capricciosa, that all marked key moments in my Stormworks journey, and I want to give them the polish they deserve.
In total, 7 creations are re-entering active support, with updates coming in the near future:
Enigma Tech Lunar Research Facility
This is my largest creation, and predictably, the worst performing. The goal for this build returning to support is major optimizations to significantly reduce file size, alongside many improvements to the entire build.
Functional Nintendo Entertainment System
A fun little experimental build from a while back that really suffered from my lack of hardware reference and skill at the time. Now that I actually own a physical NES, I plan to either heavily overhaul this, or completely rebuild the system from the ground up.
Functioning Wii Remote (+ Dev Kit) & Pressure Sensitive Buttons
Since publishing these, I've made a much better pressure-sensitive button logic that also supports toggle states. I plan to implement these inside the Wii Remote, potentially add motion controls, and release the new pressure-sensitive buttons on their own.
Luminar Nuclear Power Plant & Tribute Capricciosa Nuclear Power Plant (Original)
Luminar is my second largest project and took one year and ten months to build, starting shortly after the original Capricciosa was released in 2022. Constant game updates over that period introduced major bugs (including the Compressed Gases & Fluids Major Update), and reworked warheads to delete small vehicle bodies (like fuel rods and walls), making creating Luminar absolute hell.
When the v1.15.12 The Armor Update was released in March 2026, allowing us to disable warheads deleting small vehicle bodies, my original plan was to fix the original Capricciosa NPP and make Luminar's explosion sequence much more satisfying. Instead, I got overly ambitious and spent ~250 hours remaking Capricciosa from scratch. Now that the remaster is finally complete, I'm heading back to give Luminar and the original Capricciosa their much-needed updates.
Tribute Vault 01
Despite Vault 01 being my most popular standalone build, it is severely flawed. It's unfinished, unoptimized, cramped, ugly, and missing many very important living necessities. I've avoided fixing it for all this time to focus on Vault 02, but it's been two years of constant work and no results. This doesn't mean Vault 02 is cancelled, but it's time I give the original a proper update.
I've already finished major optimizations for Tribute Capricciosa NPP Remastered and the Enigma RB-2A & LM-1A Rocket Launch Facility. These newly re-supported builds are my next targets. Doing all of this work takes a lot of time, especially the file size optimisation that makes use of microcontrollers, but I wanted to put this post out to set clear expectations for where my Workshop focus is headed for the time being, and I'll be sure to share progress as these builds get wrapped up.
If you'd like to give any feedback or requests for any of these returning creations, go here.
Thanks for stopping by to read through this update.
