Comments

Starting with bad news, moderating the comment sections across the site has become increasingly difficult due to persistent spam and zero moderation tools from the service I use. As a result, I’ve decided to remove the comment sections entirely. If you’d like to chat or share feedback, feel free to join the HMG Central Discord server instead. Hardware

I’ve spent quite a bit of time improving the Hardware page recently. To make the stats easier to read, I’ve wrapped all the Specification lists inside Code Blocks, which I think does a good job of separating raw specs from my personal notes. I also added peripherals to the Monitors list for the setups that use them, like Raptor and GIGACHAD. I put a lot of work into cutting out backgrounds and editing new photos for Raptor, Jelly, and GIGACHAD, and they look super clean now! Finally, I swapped in updated photos for the Microsoft Surface 3 and HP Stream Notebook 13, dropped in a normal/unedited photo for the MacBook Air, and updated the comments on most entries. 

Games

I gave the Games page a quick pass. I replaced Teardown with Scrap Mechanic, and rewrote the reviews to focus less on an actual overview of the game, and more on my personal experience and what those games actually mean to me.

Photos

The Photos page is finally back! I've uploaded around 70 compressed photos from my fourth playthrough of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora to start. Avoiding the same mistakes as the previous version of the Photos page, I split all of them into 10 photos per page, reducing load times and resource consumption drastically. If you'd like to download any of the uncompressed photos, each image includes a direct link to the full-resolution file on Google Drive. And if you'd rather grab all of them at once, there's a link at the top of the page for the whole folder.
